VCE Results - Class of 2024 | Melbourne Girls Grammar

As a community, we are so very proud of every Grammarian for the hard work and determination they have shown throughout their VCE studies. We are pleased to present the VCE Results of the Class of 2024.

Melbourne Girls Grammar takes pride in offering students opportunities to excel both inside and outside the classroom, allowing them to explore and develop their interests and passions throughout their school years. With a commitment to striving for one’s personal best, comes a focus on pursuing excellence in all that they do. Over the years, our Grammarians build their strengths and confidence. Our School culture provides guidance, and the results are evident in how our students rise to challenges, apply themselves, and demonstrate courage and determination.  The outstanding results we share with you today reflect the strength and depth of the Class of 2024. They are a cohort of high achievers across a number of academic disciplines, alongside their high engagement and excellence in the co-curricular opportunities offered by the School – sports, music, drama and the visual arts   

We are delighted to see 50% of the cohort earning scores in the top 10% of the state, with ATAR scores of 90 or above. The diversity of our offerings and the strengths of our students are evident in 41% of students achieving a study score of 45 or higher across 24 different studies. These range from perfect scores in Art Making and Exhibiting, Biology, English Literature and Mathematical Methods. The results show the depth of our students across all discipline areas including our day students, those residing in the Boarding House (Median ATAR 90.3), and those who have come from other countries to study with us (Median ATAR 91.3).

This success has been fostered by our exceptional teachers. Our teachers know their students well and design academic programs that provide relevant and age-appropriate challenges for personal stretch and growth. They cultivate a love of learning, assist in building supportive relationships, and offer numerous opportunities for students to take initiative both within and beyond the classroom. It is this combination that enables our students to achieve outstanding academic results and enjoy their time at school in the process. Together with their families, Melbourne Girls Grammar can shine the spotlight on the learner and recognise the enormous impact a strong community has in assisting each individual along the way.

Completing VCE is a great achievement for all students and with their results, the Class of 2024 demonstrate the unique benefits of a well-rounded Melbourne Girls Grammar education.
