The English started fast, racing out to a two-try lead.

But the Wallabies have never gone away and are right in this contest, leading at the break!

We have a really excellent contest on our hands here.

The Wallabies are really testing here!

Suaalii is tackled with the line in his sights!

Now Tupou breaks through! He's tackled as he throws a no-look pass that goes forward.

But England were offside so we're coming back for the easy penalty...

Which  Lolesio converts!

The Wallabies lead for the first time today, 20-18!

The free kick was put up high, Cunningham-South is ran into by Kellaway and gives away a penalty!

The Wallabies have a kick to touch and a lineout just outside the 22.

Marcus Smith gets the ball wide with a lovely floated pass out wide to Ollie Sleightholme, who chips ahead and fancies himself to get there, but the ball just goes dead.

The Wallabies will have a scrum from where the replacement wing put that kick in, just outside the 22.

And Australia wins the free kick!

The scrum infringements are evening out.

Brilliant from Tate McDermott, sniping around the ruck and darting away.

He passes the ball to his Reds teammate Harry Wilson who dives over in the corner!

Brilliant from the Wallabies.

Brilliant response.

The kick from the corner is superb too, and it's just a 1-point ball game!

England 18-17 Wallabies.

And they take it quickly to advance to the 22!

Suaalii gets up against Maro Itoje to make that ball contestable, and does so, but England turn the ball over - this time it's Michael Hooper on Stan Sport complaining against the referee's decision at the breakdown but that one looked good to me.

The Wallabies do knock the ball on soon after so it will be England ball on half way.

Meanwhile, Jake Gordon is off, because of a lot of blood coming from his face.

Taniela Tupou is pinged again, Ben O'Keeffe is right on his side and instantly calls the penalty as soon as  the push comes on.

Marcus Smith lines up the kick from the 22 - it did look for a second as though the English wanted to go for touch - and makes no mistake.

It's 18-10.

England think they have a chance as the Wallabies cough up possession on the edge of their 22.

But there is a knock on from the Wallabies and then the English so we'll have a scrum.

And welcome to international rugby Joseph Suaalii!

A lovely touch, a step, a pass out to Tom Wright over the top of the two tacklers that he dragged into his orbit and Wright dives over in the corner!

Well-worked move from the Wallabies.

The kick is brilliant from the corner and the score is 10-15.

We restart with a scrum and Tom Wright gets the ball on the end of a chain of passes, hauled down having gained no metres.

Suaalii cannot be tackled, he stands tall and throws the ball on out to Pietsch.

The Wallabies get into the 22, but stall and we're going to come back for a penalty for England not rolling away.

Which the Wallabies kick for the corner.

Suaalii does well to stand tall and offload after England just get their backline radar a bit off and the Wallabies have an attack.

Tom Curry is sent backwards by a powerful run as the Wallabies edge towards the 22.

Now he is knocked down again, this time by Rob Valetini and he has not moved.

Oh nasty.

Not much doubt about this needing to be an HIA.

Alex Dombrandt is going to come on to replace him, and has Curry does, eventually get himself to his feet to a round of applause, Valetini checks him.

We are shown a replay and Valetini just caught him on the head with his knee. Nasty, but completely accidental.

Immanuel Feyi-Waboso is being told to go off for an HIA.

He looks confused, but now Tommy Freeman comes off.

Hang on, now Immanuel Feyi-Waboso is coming off.

That confusion cleared up, England will get things going again with a lineout on half way.

Jamie George makes a break outside of maul but he's isolated and then Tom Wright does brilliantly to steal the ball.

And now there's some Wallabies magic on the sideline as Len Ikitau and Dylan Pietsch link up superbly!

They crash through into England territory but then lose the ball and England counter through Smith!

England come away but now the Wallabies come again!

Was Dylan Pietsch checked there by England's covering defence?

Not according to Ben O'Keeffe.

And now Stan Sports Morgan Turinui is doing his standard referee baiting, blowing up at O'Keeffe for missing an England player going over the top of a ruck as Noah Lolesio is pinged for holding on.

He was holding on, but Ollie Lawrence did go off his feet over the wrong side.

Smith adds the three extras from the tee in any case and England leads 15-3.

Northampton flier Tommy Freeman looks like he has just knocked that one on as the English look to take the ball out of their own half.

But they get the ball back from the scrum as Taniela Tupou is pinged for angling in at the scrum!

The kick is for touch and England are on the attack just outside the 22.

Oh my!

England waste no time whatsoever, Genge taking a quick tap, passing the ball off to Cunningham-South and he crashes over to score!

The TMO is having a look at this, but it looks a clear try on the first couple of replays.

Was the left hand away from the ball as it's grounded? I don't think so...

They are looking a lot though...

Ben O'Keeffe says that the try is OK, finally, and the Harlequins flanker has two inside 12 minutes.

Try is confirmed.

Marcus Smith adds the extras and it's 12-3.

Oh yeah, Marcus Smith is just a magician in this England 10 jersey.

He makes the break, realises that it's Taniela Tupou in front of him so darts away.

Such quick ball from the English has the Wallabies on the back foot. And offside.

England keep going, but are held up.

It's a penalty for offside.

Nice from Fraser McReight, a solid shot and then a turnover.

Angus Bell takes the ball up over half way, nice from the Wallabies in attack and the English are swarming a little in defence.

The English are offside and Noah Lolesio will take a shot at goal.

And he makes it from all of 42 metres.

It's England 5-3 Wallabies.

Suaalii gets his first touch from that kick off and he uses his height well to tap the ball back and the Wallabies go forward.

Lovely little kick there from Lolesio for Kellaway, who tackles George Furbank and then should really be rewarded with a penalty but instead Ben O'Keeffe pings him for not making a release of the tackler.

Hmmm, tough one.
