Liam Wright is penalised at a breakdown. Tried to get his hands on the ball but the new Wallabies skipper doesn’t get away with it.

Wales boot another penalty to level things up at 13-13.

After a quick bite and a bottle of water here in the media centre at Allianz Stadium, we’re ready for another half of Test rugby.

The Wallabies have made a couple of changes. Allan Alaalatoa comes on for tight-head prop Taniela Tupou, will Angus Blyth comes on for his Test debut, replacing Lukhan Salakaia-Loto.

Wales immediately put Australia under pressure but Tom Wright is there to put the ball down in-goal. Five-metre scrum for Wales.

The visitors go down the blindside to the right but are bundled into touch. No points.

Crowd tonight is 35,945. Not bad considering everything that happened last year.

Wales drop an easy high ball to give the Wallabies one last chance down in enemy territory but Lukhan Salakaia-Loto drops the ball after a handful of phases.

Jake Gordon’s flat service was perfect but the second-rower just couldn’t hang on.

A reasonable start from Australia. Lots of box kicking. Solid scrums. Some set plays that have come off. A few too many penalties conceded for Joe Schmidt’s liking no doubt (seven) but the men in gold head into the sheds ahead.

Some teething problems for the Wallabies. Lukhan Salakaia-Loto is thrown a pass on the right wing from Andrew Kellaway and almost isn’t looking.

Filipo Daugunu, picked on the wing, is forced to put in a clearing kick with his left foot from fullback. Not ideal.

Wales are applying more pressure than the opening 20 minutes and hanging out in Australia’s half through a clever kicking game at the moment.

Salakaia-Loto puts on a great shot to make a Wales player cough the ball up. He gets pats on the back from his teammates.

The Wallabies will be desperate to keep Wales at bay as half-time approaches.

Wales are denied a try. Referee Pierre Brousset deems there was a knock-on in the lead-up.

However, moments later, Brousset gives Wales a penalty try after a rolling maul gets pulled down. Fair call. They had the momentum there close to Australia’s line.

Unfortunately for Australia, Fraser McReight is also having a 10-minute rest given he was in the middle of all that.
