Westpac and St George hit by online banking outage for second day ...

Millions of customers with Westpac and St George banks are facing an online banking outage for the second day in a row.

Both banks said they were aware of customers having issues accessing online and mobile banking at 2:15pm today.

Westpac, which owns St George, said its teams were working to fix the issue.

"We're sorry for the inconvenience and will continue to share updates here," Westpac said in a statement on X.

The outage comes after the banks experienced a similar outage about the same time yesterday.

Yesterday's outage began at 1:40pm. and was not resolved until 3.15pm.
