'The White Lotus' season 3 release date finally revealed
The upcoming installment of Mike White’s acclaimed anthology series moves from the Italian coast to Southeast Asia, following a new group of vacationers as they attempt to enjoy their time in Thailand. In a Max featurette released after the Season 2 finale, White hinted at a potential plot point for Season 3.
“The first season we highlighted money and then the second season is sex and I think the third season, it would be maybe a kind of satirical and funny look at death in Eastern religion and spirituality — it feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus,” he explained, according to People.
The White Lotus has been a major success for HBO, with the first season winning 10 Emmys and the second season racking up an impressive 23 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series. Who is in The White Lotus season 3 cast?Season 3 of The White Lotus will introduce an entirely new group of vacationers, with one familiar face returning. Natasha Rothwell will reprise her role as spa manager Belinda Lindsey, following in the footsteps of Emmy winner Jennifer Coolidge, who appeared in back-to-back seasons as heiress Tanya McQuoid.
Meanwhile, the new cast includes an exciting mix of stars, including Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Blackpink member Lisa (credited as Lalisa Manobal), Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, and Tayme Thapthimthong.
Also joining the cast in Season 3 are Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Nicholas Duvernay, Francesca Corney, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, and Julian Kostov.

On Dec. 16, HBO released the official teaser for The White Lotus Season 3. “Seeking peace can be a trip,” the network teased alongside the footage, which features a voiceover saying, “Everyone runs from pain towards pleasure. But they get there only to find more pain.” Watch the full clip below.
