"A little house, big barn" with 7,000 acres located 40 miles west of Dillon, Montana," Beth reveals to her husband.
Rip likes it... and Beth sighs with relief, because she already bought it this morning.
But who's going to run the Yellowstone ranch? Before Beth can answer, she gets a phone call that sends her outside in tears.

Meanwhile, Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) and Mo (Mo Brings Plenty) are on their way to visit Monica (Kelsey Asbille) and Kayce (Luke Grimes).
Rainwater is intrigued, we're intrigued.
The end of Yellowstone as we know it. (Stan)"My family can't afford the inheritance tax on the ranch," Kayce gets to the point. "You can't afford to buy..."
Kayce admits only he can save his family, but Rainwater can save the ranch.
"When my ancestors came here, land sold for $1.25 an acre, back when it was your land... when they took it. And that's the price I offer you," said Kayce.

That is, under two conditions: Kayce keeps East Camp for his family, and secondly, Rainwater can never develop on Yellowstone land.
"Your people are buried in that land and so are mine," Rainwater at last responds. "It is sacred and that's how we will treat it."
Rainwater and Kayce make a blood pact.
The deal has been sealed, Yellowstone will be declared a wilderness area and nothing can be built.
Kayce sells the ranch to Rainwater. (Stan)"We're free now," Kayce holds back tears while holding Monica in his arms.

Fighting for his own freedom is Jamie (Wes Bentley), who will now do everything he can to connect his ex-fling Sarah and John's deaths.
The funeral service begins and Jamie is notably missing. One look at John's casket and Beth breaks down in tears.
"You made me promise not to sell an inch. I hope you now understand that this is me keeping it," she cries to her father's grave.
"We won," she whispers.
But that's not all Beth whispers. Her final words are a chilling escape: "I will avenge you."
It is after that moment, Beth storms back to the main house and grabs a knife. She speeds off in her car and it soon clicks for Rip exactly what she's doing.
"GET IN," Rip calls Lloyd ( Forrie J. Smith) before they chase her down the highway.
There's no time to waste: "PULL OVER THE F--KING CAR" he demands her. There's got to be another way.
Jamie arrives home and there's Beth waiting to ambush him. She attacks him from behind – with bear spray right in his eyes before he beats her to the ground relentlessly.
Jamie reaches a new level of mad. He reveals his plans to pin the murders on Beth or he will spill every family secret.
But he's forgetting one thing. Beth is always one step ahead of him.
"We sold the ranch," she looks him in the eye.
"We sold it for $1.25 an acre, $1.1 million for the largest ranch in Montana," she laughs as she falls to the ground. "To the reservation!"
Beth pulls one last move. (Stan)"You did what?" Jamie's world shatters.
"YOU DID WHAT?!" He asks one more time before he kicks her down once more.
Beth pulls out her knife, but Jamie begins to strangle her. Beth is gasping for breath as she is about to meet a demise in the same way her father did.
She's on her final breath... before Rip comes racing to the rescue.
But the fight's not over.
Jamie meets his tragic fate. (Stan)"Wait!" says Beth as she escapes Jamie's arms – and stabs him slowly in the chest.
"Look at me. That's right, I'm going to be the last thing you ever f--king see," she haunts him as he falls to his death.
Rip goes into damage control but Beth has a plan. She tells Rip to drop Jamie off at the 'train station' while she calls 911.
The story goes, Beth confronted Jamie for not attending their father's funeral. She accused him of being involved in their father's death, so he beat her unconscious and when she woke up, he vanished.
