WA Police have charged the 29-year-old rapper, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, with sexually assaulting the woman aged in her 20s on September 28 after a show at Bar1.

Sex assault squad detectives travelled to Brisbane on Wednesday to extradite the musician, who had performed at Havana Nightclub two days earlier.

Barrientos has been charged with four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and a count of impeding a person’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to their neck.

He is due to face Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The charges do not suggest the allegations are proven. The accused is innocent until proven guilty in court.

The Hillarys event was marketed as the “ultimate evening escapade” where ticketholders could see the personality who is originally from the UK.

“The event promises to be a seamless blend of spontaneity, humour and music that’ll have you talking for weeks!” an advertisement on ticket sales platform MoshTix said.

The rapper started his musical career in 2017 and kickstarted his YouTube calling in 2013 — regularly contributing to the online British collective Beta Squad and previously collaborating with the group Sidemen.

He also appeared on Channel 4’s The Great Celebrity Bake Off.

He uses his huge social media following — more than six million fans on TikTok and Instagram alone — to share countless modelling pictures, sponsored by several fashion companies, including online fashion giant ASOS.
