Australian Formula 1 superstar Daniel Ricciardo has made a surprise on-stage appearance at country singer Zach Bryan’s sold-out Melbourne show.

Bryan, who was performing his one and only Australian show at Flemington Racecourse on Saturday night, welcomed Ricciardo and Irish singer Dermot Kennedy on stage for his final song of the night.

Ricciardo and Kennedy were originally towards the back of the stage before they were ushered up to the front alongside Bryan.

The trio belted out Bryan’s hit song Revival, much to the delight of the thousands in attendance.

At one point during the gig, Bryan did a shoey — in a tribute to Ricciardo’s trademark celebration.

Ricciardo has long been a fan of Bryan and posted a clip of himself singing Revival on his social media accounts earlier this year.

Fans went wild at the Aussie’s unexpected cameo.

“Daniel Riccardio singing Revival is the best thing to happen this year,” one fan said.

“Imagine being at a concert with Zach Bryan, Dermot Kennedy and Daniel Riccardio all on the same stage,” another said.

“Daniel Ricciardo went on stage and sang revival with Zach Bryan in Australia and now I will never recover,” a third added..

“If you saw Daniel Ricciardo sing revival with Zach Bryan don’t ever speak to me, you are living my dream,” added another.

“Zach Bryan and Daniel Ricciardo and I wasn’t there to see it?!” another fan said.

Ricciardo, 34, began the 2023 F1 season without a spot on the grid and joined Red Bull as their third driver.

When Nyck de Vries was released from his seat at the Red Bull-owned AlphaTauri, Ricciardo was elevated back into the fold.

Despite missing four races with a broken hand, Ricciardo returned later in the season to finish seventh at the Mexico City Grand Prix in October, which was the best performance by an AlphaTauri driver throughout the year.

He will remain with AlphaTauri next year, but hopes to one day return to Red Bull to race alongside ex-teammate and world champion Max Verstappen.
