'He's loving it': Topless Lion 'almost flexing' as AFL world left in stitches

For a while there it seemed like Devon Robertson was going to play the rest of the Brisbane Lions’ blockbuster against Collingwood shirtless.

The Lions star had his guernsey ripped in the middle on the ground by Collingwood’s Brayden Maynard midway through the second term at Marvel Stadium on Friday night.

The footy found him again just moments later with Robertson effectively wearing his Lions top like a bib.

“He is in all sorts,” James Brayshaw said in commentary as he was swamped by his rivals and pinged for holding the ball.

Beau McCreery took the opportunity to rub it in further by yanking on the tattered guernsey — and it set a frustrated Robertson off.

Robertson exploded, hurling what remained of his jumper off and throwing it to the ground in comical scenes.

“He is loving it,” Brian Taylor said in commentary as Robertson continued to play, seemingly with no interest in getting another top. “He’s almost flexing.

“He doesn’t want to come to the bench. I’ve never seen someone enjoy this so much.”
