Kate Middleton and Prince William Are "Going Through Hell," Says ...

Over the past few weeks, as Prince William returned to a schedule of public engagements, Kate Middleton has remained out of the public eye, dealing with her cancer diagnosis in private.

Last week, William offered a rare update on his wife's health, revealing that both Kate and their children are "doing well."

However, in a new interview, designer Amaia Arrieta shared that this continues to be a difficult time for the Wales family. "I'm heartbroken at the moment. I think they are going through hell," Arrieta told the Telegraph. "I hope they will be back. It's really personal."

While it's unclear how knowledgable Arrieta is in regards to the Princess of Wales's health, she has worked closely with the Wales family in the past, and various news outlets have described her as a "friend" to the Prince and Princess. There have been no official updates from Kensington Palace since Kate shared her cancer diagnosis in late March, when it was noted that she is undergoing "preventative chemotherapy." The Palace said they will not be sharing what type of cancer the Princess has.

In her video message, the Princess of Wales said, "it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok. As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits."

Arrieta is the fashion designer behind childrenswear label Amaia London, often works closely with the Wales family's team to source clothing for royal photos. "Dressing the royals gives me so much pride, I really do care about how they look," she said in the new interview. Arrieta adds, "It's often a very tight deadline. We would do anything for them… the children always look amazing in the end."
