It comes after King Charles reportedly became emotional as he opened up about the 'shock' of being diagnosed with cancer during his return to public duties. The King took time off after receiving the diagnosis, but after being given the OK by his medical team, he is back at work.

Charles and his wife Queen Camilla attended the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre in London last week as their first official engagement in months.

According to The Mirror, Charles appeared emotional during the visit, and after one patient mentioned her chemotherapy, he told her," I’ve got to have my treatment this afternoon as well."

When someone else asked him how he was coping, he said, "I'm all right, thank you very much – not too bad."

Speaking about the moment he found out about his diagnosis, Charles told one patient, "It’s always a bit of a shock, isn’t it, when they tell you?"
