After revealing halfback Mitchell Moses will miss more than two months with a broken foot, form backrower Bryce Cartwright will also miss as many as eight weeks with a rib injury, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

Both players were injured in the gutsy win over Manly in round three.

The halfback is likely to require surgery with the Eels now set to be forced into a reshuffle with their spine.

Daejarn Asi came into the side last year and played 10 matches and is likely to be part of coach Brad Arthur's plans.

Asi played fullback for the Eels in NSW Cup last weekend while rookie Ethan Sanders was halfback and dropped hooker Brendan Hands played five-eighth.

Speaking on Nine's 100% Footy on Monday night, Paul Gallen suggested a potential shake-up involving captain Clint Gutherson could be an option.

"(Moses) had a great game (on Sunday), he's going to be sorely missed," Gallen said.

"They've probably got a couple of options there - Asi has played halfback before, they could probably put Gutho into five-eighth and maybe find another fullback.

"And obviously Dylan Brown, he's a quality player, didn't have his best season last year, obviously wants to make amends for that so it's a good opportunity for him to move into the halfback spot and control the team."

The Eels play Wests Tigers on Easter Monday at CommBank Stadium.

The Moses blow came only an hour after it was revealed Panthers halfback Nathan Cleary will be out for a month following a hamstring concern.

Both injury revelations present concerns for NSW Blues coach Michael Maguire with game one on June 5.
