Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will fly into 2024 fresh-faced, with the club announcing their new emblem lat a special launch this morning, 17 October 2023.

Calling it a “fresh, modern look”, the new sea eagle close up has been two years in the making, and will replace the old emblem after twenty years.

Manly Warringah CEO Tony Mestrov said the new logo honours the present and future progress of the Sea Eagles.

“As a Club, we are excited to rise together as one under our new identity while paying homage to our local community and what it means to represent the wonderful Northern Beaches,” Mestrov said in a statement on the Manly Sea Eagles website.

“We head into our 78th season in 2024 and while it’s important for our Club and members to pay tribute to our past history, we need to forge pathway to a new era.

The Club has also revealed new brand elements, including its MW Monogram and its visual supporting graphics.

In a media statement the club also claimed its use of a “slanted typeface” was “representative of forward movement and progress”, perhaps an attempt to step away from the rainbow jersey issue that plagued the club in 2022.

Club fans can get the new merchandise via the official website.
