There’s plenty of fight left in this lot. The questions that were asked after the loss to Souths were answered.Jahrome Hughes remains a massively underrated player. Not your conventional halfback but one Craig Bellamy probably wouldn’t swap for anyone other than Nathan Cleary.

Brisbane

Discipline was a major issue. Pat Carrigan was probably a bit unlucky to go to the sin bin, but the other two who were sent from the field for 10 minutes have no-one to blame but themselves.Adam Reynolds’ worth to this side is at its most evident when he’s not out there. Brisbane will be hoping he’s back to full health as quickly as possible.

A crazy old night in Melbourne ends with the Storm scoring an eight-point win. Brisbane didn’t help themselves by having three players sent to the sin bin. But that wasn’t even the worst part of their night. The loss of Adam Reynolds to what is being reported as a neck injury was the biggest blow they suffered tonight.
