It aims to increase civic spaces to play an active role in peace processes and early recovery of communities by empowering, protecting, and building community capacities, as well as enhancing the leadership role of women and marginalized groups, to achieve communities that embrace the principle of democracy and human rights.

Job purpose
SYCAC is seeking a reliable Project Assistant to join its team, who will be responsible for Optimal implementation of planned project activities, with ensuring adherence to the specified timeline, and Ensuring coordination, networking, and maintaining good relationships with partners, stakeholders, and influential actors.
in addition to performing any other tasks within his/her competence.

Key Responsibilities

Optimal implementation of planned project activities, with ensuring adherence to the specified timeline. Ensuring the achievement of quantitative and qualitative project indicators. Ensuring coordination, networking, and maintaining good relationships with partners, stakeholders, and influential actors. Providing periodic updates to the project manager on the progress of work. Preparing necessary reports (monthly, activity, and emergency) and providing them to the project manager within the specified timeframe. Representing the project in the best way in coordination with project manager Ensuring the archiving of all project-related data, documents, and reports according to SYCAC procedures. Commitment to the Code of Conduct, child protection, and prevention of sexual exploitation and harassment. Commitment to executing any other related tasks in coordination with project manager.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. At least 2 years of Practical experience with non-profit organizations. Excellent Planning and organizing skills and ability to adhere deadlines. Broad understanding of the work environment and excellent communication and influencing skills. Excellent report writing skills. Advanced analytical and computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Advanced level of Arabic writing & Speaking skills.
