Days after candidly admitting ‘I’d like to have another child’, Rebel Wilson was rushed to hospital when a stunt on the set of her upcoming movie went wrong.

The Australian actress shared a selfie showing her facial injuries, explaining that she needed three stitches for a facial wound.

“NOT the way I wanted to end this movie,” Wilson wrote of the film Bride Hard, which was filming in Savannah, Georgia.

“Three stitches and in hospital last night after a stunt accident at 4am.”

The selfie showed Wilson’s bloodied and swollen nose as she gazed down at the camera.

The plot of the film involves a mercenary group which infiltrates a lavish wedding, with the bride and groom unaware that the Maid of Honour (Wilson) is actually a secret agent who attempts to save the day.

Wilson revealed her injuries just days after telling candidly of her desire to have another child.

The actress and her fiancée Ramona Agruma are already parents to a daughter, Royce, who was born in November via surrogate.

”I would like to have another child,” Wilson told E! News, before reflecting on what would be involved.

“It’s just like, well, is that possible? I have to do IVF. We’ll see how it goes.”

“Roycie is such a miracle. And if she’s my only child, then amazing.

“The look Royce gives me and I give her, it’s like we’ve only maybe not seen each other for 45 minutes,” she continued.

“And she’s smiling like it’s the best thing that’s happened in her life that you’ve walked into the room. And then I’m like, ‘Oh, Roycie!’ And I just give her the biggest hugs.

“I thought I was going to be a strict parent. And everyone’s like, ‘No, no,’ I’m, like, so soft. Because I just melt every time I’m with her.”

In December, the Aussie star shared an insight into the joys and challenges that motherhood had brought her since welcoming baby Royce.

“You hold the baby and cut the umbilical cord and literally - from that moment on, you’re just like - it was just, like, amazing and so emotional,” Wilson told TODAY.

While welcoming Royce has been incredible, the experience has not come without its challenges - something about which every new mum can relate.

“It’s really challenging. I have this big international career and - you know, I’m, like, the breadwinner of my family - I like to think,” she said.

“So it’s really challenging too, like, ‘Well, now how do I do all the things and be a great mother and great partner and all of that?’”

Wilson is supported by Agruma - with the pair making their relationship public in June 2022.

“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess ????????????#loveislove,” she wrote at the time.

The couple announced their engagement in February 2023.
