Delta Goodrem reveals rare details about her relationship with Matt ...

Delta Goodrem and fiance Matt Copley will soon tie the knot, after announcing their engagement last year.

And the singer, 39, shared details of her relationship with her musician beau on Friday as she appeared on Sunrise to promote her new song, Hearts On The Run.

Delta and Matt, who have been dating since 2017, became engaged last year on a trip to Malta, with Delta saying in a heartfelt post at the time: “My best friend asked me to marry him.”

Joining Nat Barr and Matt Shirvington at Brekky Central, Delta let slip she had been trying on wedding dresses, adding the couple just celebrated a romantic Valentine’s Day together.

“It’s definitely on our minds (the wedding) — we’re looking forward to that moment,” Delta said.

Delta then revealed how the couple celebrated Valentine’s Day this year.

“We celebrated having a new song out, and we also went to a really nice dinner and just enjoyed the day,” she said.

“We’re a little bit jet-lagged as we just got over (to London) from LA, where we’ve been working in the studio.”

Delta has just released Hearts On The Run, saying it feels great putting out new music — which she is scheduled to perform on the BBC in coming days.

“It’s been a great start to the year,” Delta said.

“It was Grammys season, releasing new music, and it’s only February.”

In September last year, Delta shared a romantic photo of she and Matt kissing at sunset to announce their engagement.

At the time, they had been touring Europe with Matt performing as a guitarist in Delta’s live band.

Celebrity fans such as Rebecca Judd, model Jess Gomes and singer Samantha Jade rushed to congratulate the pair.

“Exciting times! Congratulations guys, wishing you all the happiness,” one fan wrote.

“Congratulations beautiful one! So happy for you both xx” wrote another.

“Wishing you both the best for all the following years together,” said another.

Speculation had been rife the pair were set to get engaged, after Goodrem paid a gushing tribute to her boyfriend for his birthday, calling him her “favourite human”.

“Another year around the sun!! On tour, on your birthday! ????❤️,” she wrote.

“Happy birthday to my best friend and favourite human in the whole wide world. My ???? @matthew.copley ???? I love you!”

Photos showed the couple on stage dancing together and sharing special moments backstage and while travelling on tour.
