Tyler Herro, who missed the entirety of the Miami Heat's Eastern Conference Finals seven-game series against the Boston Celtics, could return to feature in the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets.

The guard fractured his right hand in the first game of round one. The Heat did alright without him, though, causing an upset by knocking out the Bucks.

After beating the Bucks in five, Miami, the no.8 seed, went on to beat the Knicks in six and the Celtics in seven. Now they are where no one expected them to be: the NBA Finals.

Herro to return in game three

Herro was the Heat's second-best offensive player in the regular season, so his absence makes the team's Playoff run all the more impressive. The likes of Gabe Vincent and Caleb Martin have stepped up when it mattered, while Jimmy Butler is always capable of finding another level in the postseason.

Miami could be set for a massive boost, though, with news that Herro could be due for a game-three return during the Finals. That would be Miami's first home game against the Denver Nuggets, who have home-court advantage thanks to their higher seeding.
