Her performance as a teen, who deals with anxiety and drug addiction was lauded. Zendaya even won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series twice, and the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series. She also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress-Television Series, Drama and won two Black Reel Awards.

The two seasons of Euphoria have averaged a view count of over 16 million viewers, making it the fourth-highest-watched show in HBO history. The second season premiere had a record opening of 2.4 million viewers and was the highest for HBO until the premiere of House of the Dragon.

With an approximate budget of $165 million, the show was a long list of producers, including hip/hop sensation Drake. Zendaya, in an interview with E! News said,

“I don’t know the full situation, but I know at our wrap party, Drake was gifting money. People would enter into a raffle and people won money, which was cool, especially for our crew members.”

In 2023, Zendaya re-negotiated her contract with HBO and is now reportedly earning a whopping $1 million per episode. With an eight-episode season, Zendaya would earn up to $8 million for Euphoria. She also serves as an executive producer for the show from the second season.

The breakout star of the series, Sydney Sweeney reportedly earned $35,000 for 13 episodes. Her net worth was estimated to be $5 million. Jacob Elrodi might have an increase in his pay due to his extensive portfolio, such as Netflix’s The Kissing Booth. His net worth is estimated to be $4 million.

Late actor Angus Cloud, however, seems to be the lowest on the pay scale. His role as Fezco, the loyal friend to Rue, was Cloud’s first acting role ever. He was scouted by the casting director on the streets of New York. He reportedly earned a sum of $230,000 and his net worth is estimated to be $3 million. He had a significant role in the second season and had the potential to receive an increase in season 3. However, the young actor recently passed away after battling mental health issues.
