Zendaya attended the Louis Vuitton spring 2024 ready-to-wear fashion show on Monday in Paris, wearing a plunging white gown with utilitarian-inspired touches. Working with creative director Law Roach, the actress donned a custom Louis Vuitton dress with gold buckle detailing on her shoulders and a two-way zipper across her torso.
Helmed by women’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, the brand’s spring 2024 show was held at a construction site on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, where the Louis Vuitton future mega-complex will be built.
“His spring collection was designed to be easy to pack: exit the zips and buckles the size of gold bars, and in with lightweight materials like the fine cashmere of a maroon robe coat,” WWD reported on the collection on Monday. “The designer is not done with volume yet, only this time he offered inflated blouses and padded satin jackets as snuggly as down comforters.”
“Law and I have some ideas about what we want to wear. We made eye contact quite a bit. We’re like ‘Oh, that one,’” Zendaya told WWD on Tuesday about her look at the Paris Fashion Week show.
The star has long ties with the brand, being named a house ambassador for Louis Vuitton in April. That same month, Zendaya also appeared in her first campaign for the fashion house, modeling Louis Vuitton’s bestselling Capucines handbag.
Paris Fashion Week ran from Sept. 25 to Oct. 3. Other notable fashion shows from this year’s schedule included Acne Studios, Valentino, Victoria Beckham and Balenciaga.
