Two footballing giants come head to head in front of a sell-out crowd at the home of football. While it's not a competitive fixture, players on both sides are competing to prove their worth ahead of the European Championship and Copa America tournaments, both of which are this summer.

Southgate has selected a squad that includes 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo. The Man United midfielder only made his Premier League debut earlier in the season but oozes class on the ball and will not look out of place. He was originally left out of the squad, but seemingly Southgate watched his spectacular performance against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarterfinals and rewarded him with his first England call-up.

Brazil are without Alisson, the Liverpool goalkeeper who is still recovering from injury. However, they will have Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo in attack.

4 hours before kickoff: “It’s a difficult time we’re going through, yes. But nothing that’s impossible to reverse quickly," said Brazil's new head coach Dorival Junior as he painted a positive picture in his first press conference in January, but the truth is: a dark cloud hangs over the Brazil national team.

Excluding penalty shootouts, England are undefeated in 20 consecutive matches at Wembley Stadium. Gareth Southgate has overseen wins against 39 out of the 42 different opponents he has faced as England's manager, yet he settled for a draw in his lone previous encounter against Brazil. Brazil are, however, on a losing streak, having lost three consecutive internationals - a feat they haven't experienced since July 2001.

In Harry Kane's most recent five home matches for England, he has consistently found the back of the net, scoring a total of seven goals (five at Wembley and two at Old Trafford). Only two players in England's history have achieved the record of scoring in six consecutive appearances on English turf: Steve Bloomer and Wayne Rooney.

Brazil are preparing for the Copa America this summer and the Samba Boys will be looking to Real Madrid pair Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes to fire them to glory in London.

However, with Alisson and Ederson both ruled out through injury, the visitors will have to name one of their uncapped goalkeepers in the starting team.
