Eagles pick forward-ruck utility Ryan Maric in rookie draft

The West Coast Eagles have picked 193cm Drouin utility player Ryan Maric with pick one in the AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft.

Maric joined Adam Papalia on 6PR’s Wide World of Sports tonight.

“I was sick of being the big kid I guess, and having people out-running me and being quicker than me,” Maric said.
