Head to UConn Waterbury's campus today for a spring celebration
Lovers of spring, the University of Connecticut’s Waterbury campus is hosting an event for you this afternoon.
From 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. the UConn regional campus will be hosting a Spring Into Gardening celebration.
Go to the Waterbury campus main building, MPR 113/119 to participate in the fun.
The celebration will include several spring-related events and activities for those who stop by, the event webpage said. These events include coloring stations where participants can design ornaments, suncatchers and pinwheels.
There will also be gardening stations where attendees can plant their own seeds to kick off the growing season.
The Waterbury campus Associated Student Government and Rainbow Spirit club are collaborating to make the event happen.
Refreshments will be provided and the event is open to everyone.
UConn’s Waterbury campus will be hosting several other events this month including a crafting event this Wednesday where students can take a break from their studies to do arts and crafts while enjoying pastries, which the event will provide.
This Thursday, the regional campus will be hosting a sexual assualt awareness workshop as well as an EID celebration.
Later in the month, events include a bake sale, Asian American Cultural Center tabling events, bowling events, pride events and an undergraduate recognition ceremony.
